KAMA LION 12 M HEAVY SPRING HARROW (STUBBLE)

KAMA spring harrow refers to the category of progressive, resource-saving tillage agricultural machinery.

The high efficiency and low costs  make it possible to obtain crops with a low cost of final products when using KAMA harrow. Low operating costs and high quality of execution let estimate KAMA spring harrow as a product of the European quality at a RUSSIAN price.

The harrow structure is a frame structure with hydraulic control. The harrow sections are 1.8 m wide and fixed to the frame by sprung levers, which  provide a constant pressure of the working unites on the soil.

There are 15 pieces of paired spring teeth in five rows for each section. The tooth diameter is 16 mm.

Easy and quick adjustment of the angle of teeth contact provide a wide range of possible settings depending on the field conditions and the type of work.

The preparation of the harrow for operation or transportation takes no more than 15 minutes, and can be performed by one person.

The cable system for balancing the traction force increases  ability to control the wide-reach unit, and the sectional design ensures good gauging of the field surface.

KAMA spring harrow can be steadily operated with any amount of crop residues on the field, the straw roll does not lift it up and no piles of straw occur on the field due to its own weight of about 7 tons.

The length and thickness of the teeth are selected in such a way that the teeth vibrate at a speed of 10 – 15 km/h , and this vibration has a powerful destructive effect on the capillaries of the upper soil layer.

We should not forget that the cost of delivery and unloading of tooth harrows to start the work is simply high, and transportation from one field to another field can be delayed for 2-3 days. KAMA harrow is always ready for operation: it takes 5 minutes to hitch with a tractor and 5 minutes to bring KAMA harrow to the working position on the field, so that the processing starts quickly.

Operation units (paired spring teeth (rakes)

• The rakes are made of steel with a high content of manganese to provide the necessary hardness and elasticity with a thickness of 16 mm. The rakes are quenched in oil (as parts of the piston group in the engine industry).
• This ensures high wear resistance, the rakes are replaced on average after processing 80 000 – 100 000 Ha (5-7 years of operation).

 It ensures constant copying of the field contour.

• Each section of KAMA harrow is equipped with two springs (1500 *40*25 mm).
• The hinge being used in the structure gives maximum flexibility to the wings to copy the soil contour, as well as makes it easy to transport the harrow.
